Very , very disappointed .You cannot make lightning strike twice . A Mighty Wind is one of my favorite movies. This is a pale sad carbon copy that I did not find funny at all . It was strained and the cast was struggling . Perhaps if you are a dog show person who gets the intended inside jokes you might get a few giggles. Otherwise, I would have to pass on this one. I am glad that I didn't pay full price for this.

One of THE best Comedies ever made. Only "Bested" by The Director's other previous films "WAITING FOR GUFFMAN" & the one after this one "A MIGHTY WIND " Christopher Guest is nothing short of a genius , and it was proven with "SPINAL TAP" way back when, and then he goes and makes all these other ones w other amazing Actors like Eugene Levy Catherine O Hara Etc. Essential Grade A.

I was told not to read anything about this movie, just watch it. Took me a couple of months but I finally turned it on and OMG! The laughs just escaped from me totally unexpected! I LOVE THIS MOVIE. However, it is not everyone's cup o tea. I have sat through a few viewing with friends who could not understand why my face was in the pillow because, there are scenes where I can not stop laughing (I am laughing now). For me; This is just a smidge below Spinal Tap, and one star above Waiting for Guffman. Love this cast!!!!
