Despite having a surprising premise and decently timed plot twists, this movie lacks emotional connection and in some areas creativity. This movie makes a lot of subtle Home Alone references and one big one, but struggles to land a lasting memory in my mind. I thought the acting was fine, Levi Miller wasn't amazing as he overacted most of the time and Olivia DeJonge did not get her chance to truly show what she could've done in this role. The directing was fine, nothing wrong with it but nothing superb, overall this movie was ok, nice ending, nice twists, I guess. There is not much else to say but if you are wanting a movie to just casually watch, i guess this will do but if you are looking for a true horror or even suspense film, choose something else.

Was very disappointed. If you're looking for a horror flick, this is NOT it! This one fits into the comedy/mystery category with some cheap thrills thrown in.

Tough to feel threatened by a child whose voice keeps squeaking and who stomps his feet when he gets mad. Watchable but dull.
