The whole movie is somwhat of a boring lackluster. The pacing of the story went from very slow to moderate. The storytelling itself is a little below-averege, but a bit interesting. As a comedy: it's predictably unfunny with 1 forgettable funny moment, jokes that are easy to miss, & unengaging visual slapstick gags. The emotional value makes a struggling effort with it's screenplay, but it's just there. Most of the characters are boring and uninteresting, but you do care about them. There are only 2 characters that i do love: Papi and El Diablo. The voice cast is mostly great, and the voice acting is not that great, but it does what it has to do. The Soundtrack is great! Most of the songs are a perfect fit (depends on the mood) but, some, not so much. And The music score is straight up perfect. For recommendation: It is worth a rental, it's OK for kids, But as a "family film", the value of "family entertainment" is disposable.

Zzz...Zzz...Huh? What? Oh yes, the review. I was very displeased with this film. The only reason I won't give this one star is because George Lopez was a great voice actor for Papi, the film's leading protagonist. If not for him, someone would have had to pay me to watch it. Another sign of the death of Disney...
