As the police launch a full-scale crackdown on organised crime, it ignites a national yakuza struggle between the Sanno of the East and Hanabishi of the West. Great follow on from the movie Outrage. Suggest viewers need to watch Outrage before watching Beyond Outrage, as the story line may be harder to follow. Great movie. Very dark story from Kitano with dead bodies all over the place. It could have had a better ending, but all up its a great movie and highly recommended :-)
