About this movie

The leading mercenary for the British East India Company, Will Reynolds has just been double-crossed and now is on the run in the American Colonies. Working to redeem his name and win back the affections of the woman with whom he's never been fully truthful, Will now hides behind a new mask in hopes of thwarting his former employer. As his past life closes in on him, Will must somehow gain the trust and the help of his beloved Charlotte as well as Ben Franklin while he races against time to defuse a plot of historical proportions. BEYOND THE MASK is a revolutionary new family film that brings history to life in a faith-filled adventure celebrating grace, liberty, and the true freedom that can only be found in Christ. As Will Reynolds discovers, if we let true freedom ring, history can be redeemed!

A good family movie with a little bit for everyone. I liked it on all points, of course there is room for improvement, but that is just part of the learning process. I look forward to seeing more quality materials with Christian appeal from this group. A strong 4 star movie - that is why I am buying this digital copy although I already purchased the DVD.

Seriously.. Starting to think these production companies are TRYING to make these Christian films bad. The cinematography was actually quite good. Everything else was garbage. Can I get my $4 back please?

Our kids - 13 (boy) and 11 (girl) - loved this film! Very well done all around. Good story, acting, special effects, and more. Definitely a Christian theme, but not preachy. Made by two homeschooled brothers and hundreds of homeschool volunteers. Better than most Hollywood films (that didn't cost more than $500 million to produce). My favorite line is from the deceptively evil character, Charles Kemp (played by the amazing John Rhys-Davies): "We all have to come to terms with our contradictions. I have."
