This film harks back to the halcyon days of Frank Capra much maligned for being too sentimental. He still made the film that is in most people's Top Ten, that being It's a Wonderful Life. So Fast Forward to the 1980s and BIG still has the same value at its core as Capra's filmswhich are, trust people, always do the right thing for the right reason and good will conquer all. This film first showcased the talent of Tom Hanks, all his films prior to that e.g. Splash were not as significant as BIG. The stand out highlight is the dance with the Toy Company owner on the Giant Keyboard its on a par with any of the special cinematic moments of all time. This was recently re-enacted on the Jonathan Ross Show with Tom Hanks and Sandra Bullock a fair substitute with better legs doing Chopsticks brilliantly Tom can still do it. BIG must be also in everyone Top Ten if not then they haven't a heart!

Big is one of my favorite childhood movies I watched since I was a kid. This film is a lot different before the upcoming films 13 Going on 30 and Little (2019). Growing up when you was young everything back then you didn't get no notice or popular to anyone who wasn't interest. Becoming an adult to know the truth you're still a kid inside your mind trying to understand the hurt and outcast you were with without anyone to look out. If I had a chance I wish I could re-do my mistakes and turn back time to my younger time at my school days before where I ended up where I am now.
