Despite the promising set up and everybody concerned giving it their best, this clumsy B-Movie never really hits its stride. The unconvincing accents and cheesy dialogue makes for laughable moments when there should have been drama. Samuel L Jackson gives a solid performance, but even he can't do much with this.

There's a moment that's like a perverse 'E.T' scene. I certainly hope this isn't veiled anti Obama rhetoric, but who can be sure. She was right its PAINFUL to watch Jackson in this. The end is Nigh people, I'm sorry to say. Enjoy your original content while you can cause were in for a long line of remakes and reboots ~J 'Lovitts'

This was a fun action story that was still fairly family friendly. Just watch it for the fun ride and action and you'll enjoy it. I laughed and even cried a little bit at the sweet moments for the boy. This was not your typical Samuel L. Jackson role. It was fun to see him evolve into a tougher character as the boy rubbed off on him. Overall, it was a cute movie with some laughs as well.
