Despite the promising set up and everybody concerned giving it their best, this clumsy B-Movie never really hits its stride. The unconvincing accents and cheesy dialogue makes for laughable moments when there should have been drama. Samuel L Jackson gives a solid performance, but even he can't do much with this.

You wonder why actors, directors and producers are always whining about the near impossibility of getting movies made these days. How in the hell did this movie get made when other great movies are shelved for lack of money? Anyways, there is really not anything worth remembering in this flick. The kid is okay. Although this is the first time I have ever seen SLJ portrayed as a coward. Weird. Pass. Move along, nothing to see here.

There's a moment that's like a perverse 'E.T' scene. I certainly hope this isn't veiled anti Obama rhetoric, but who can be sure. She was right its PAINFUL to watch Jackson in this.
