About this movie

The stakes are higher than ever for the time-traveling exploits of William "Bill" S. Preston, Esq. (Alex Winter) and Theodore "Ted" Logan (Keanu Reeves). Yet to fulfill their rock and roll destiny, the now middle-aged best friends set out on a new adventure when a visitor from the future warns them that only their song can save life as we know it. Along the way, they will be helped by their daughters, a new batch of historical figures, and a few music legends — to seek the song that will set their world right and bring harmony in the universe.

Nicht mehr zeitgemäß, leere Kanne Hoschi…. Ich kannte die beiden Vorgängerteile, wollte daher diesen nachholen. Leider kann ich nichts Positives von dem 3. Teil abgewinnen. Ich denke das Problem bei dem Film ist nicht, dass er sich nicht an die Vorgänger gehalten hat, sondern genau das er das tat. In 2021 ist dieser Art Humor und Machart einfach nicht mehr ansehbar.

Der Film greift den Humor von damals gut auf. Die Story ist herrlich schräg, nur hätte "der Song" mehr Kompositionen verdient, es ist z.B. unbegreiflich, wie man Louis Armstrong NICHT singen lassen kann, sondern ihn nur auf die Trompete reduziert. Ende also mau.

The most awesome final of three excellent adventures! Hollywood, look at this masterpiece: if you want to create a sequel, this is how it is going! Something new, something surprising, something to remember, done with heart and not only driven by money! And: party on, dudes!!!!
