But when the righteous Rufus (George Carlin) arrives in a time-travelling phone booth, the dense dudes discover their destiny…and call on the past’s biggest names -- including Napoleon, Genghis Khan, Sigmund Freud, Socrates, Joan of Arc and Abraham Lincoln -- for help!

I liked the origionals way better. Felt like they had 77 minutes to write this movie. I wish I could get a refund..

It's an excellent film just like its namesake with the exception of Bill and Ted using a sexist slur. Other than that, it's funny and hilarious and I love the historical characters and how they interact in the modern age (which was the 80s back then).

At the time, I thought it was hilarious. But it hasn't held up nearly as well as I'd expected.
