To be completely honest, first time it felt Kafkaesque, but I thought of giving it a second viewing & story really caught my attention. Love the format of single shot scenes.

One of the most inspiring movies I've ever watched. It inspires you to chase your passions, live them and never stop. Also does it tell you that success isn't stationary; keep going, live you passions passionately and success will be at your footsteps. So well framed dialogues and drama, especially that play thingy. I watched drama at the last of movie at least thrice. A must watch movie for all those who are fond of acting-based movies. Don't just watch it but also do feel it.

Birdman dares to be ambiguous, but unlike most essays in ambiguity, it is also a hell of a lot of fun. The film's exhilarating originality, black comedy and tone that is at once empathetic and acidic will surely strike a strong chord with audiences looking for something fresh that will take them somewhere they haven't been before.
