Tbh, I did not learn much of note new about Mike from this documentary, (save for a few facts about his childhood) ; and there wasn't a whole lot of footage I hadn't already seen, nor stories I hadn't already heard from Mike himself on BYM. That being said, I still loved every minute of this film! If hearing this man's unbelievable story doesn't evoke, (from you the viewer), deeply profound, visceral emotions, whilst simultaneously inspiring the hell out of you; I'm convinced you lack a pulse!

Mike's journey is truly one of the most inspirational sports stories ever!! Not only to continue fighting and winning, but to win a world title with only 1 decent eye is insanely impressive. Especially when u take into account he lost his depth perception in a sport where inches determine the difference in winning and losing, or potentially getting seriously injured. Mike himself is a good man and a great father so I couldnt be happier to support this doc. Shout out to The Count!!

The UFC is crude, largely boring grappling, lowest-common-denominator, trash that I cannot believe state ring sport commissions permit. The sweet science of boxing was around before UFC/MMA's "glorified wrestling" was sanctioned and will be around long after the last "octagon" is deconstructed. Those earning a few pennies in MMA will either have to develop a real talent boxing or, more likely, disappear back into obscurity.
