I wanted to like this film but it was too clear to me the desire of the filmmaker to push their personal beef than allow the story to be simply and well told.

What was in part an amazing and inspirational movie pertaing to fighting racism was marred by modern day political ideology detracting from its own core message unity.

I almost never drag myself to the movies but was so glad I did for this one. It's so good.
