Carol Thompson ("The Secret Garden," "Edward Scissorhands") wrote this wonderfully moving film adaptation of the classic children"s story told from the perspective of a horse named Black Beauty. Thrust on a personal odyssey -- taking him through good times and ill, trusted friends and callous enemies, disasters both natural and man-made -- Beauty experiences the best and worst of human nature, all the while seeking a safe place where he will be loved. One of my favorite films...it's beautiful and makes me cry....

It was the best movie ever but all I would change is the voice of the horse .
