In 1970s South Boston, FBI Agent John Connolly (Joel Edgerton) persuades Irish mobster James “Whitey” Bulger (Johnny Depp) to collaborate with the FBI and eliminate a common enemy: the Italian mob. One of the best gangster films I've seen. They've taken all the aspects of Whitey Bulgers way of being nearly invincible and above the law, due to the corruption and the horrid way he victimised people. Definitely worth watching.

Ждал премьеру год. Депп получился хоть и мерзкий, но нереалистичный, похож на Шляпошника из Алисы. Эх, жалко Дж. Николсон постарел, в Отступниках он великолепен в этой роли.

Depp at his very best. Highly recommended for everybody put there who hasn't watched this awesome movie yet
