A good edge of your seat drama with an interesting plot...I'm no sailor or a diver but I know a few things didn't quite add up .....I am an avid war movie watcher and I know there were some snaffoos with the diving and the sub mechanics based purely on physics, observation, and well, common sense. Never the less the movie has a great performance by Jude Law and some life and death situations that are very believable....a good movie with a submarine...gotta love it!

Story is good with a few surprises. Some scenes had a feel of Aliens II. I like movies in submarine because of the closed space, a bit like a theater play. This one worked because of the great acting of the key characters. Watch Now!

The characters are well developed, the acting is reasonably good, cinematography acceptable and the plot is well sustained. it's a good story that moves quickly. The cast has a few weak spots but they are minor compared to the overall movie. There are some technical gaffs in regard to the diving scenes that can be ignored unless you're into deep sea diving. I would easily recommend this movie to anyone who enjoys action movies.
