I am a massive Bladerunner fan, what an epic, but this version is rubbish. If you love Bladerunner, do yourself a favour and track down the "directors cut" on Blu Ray. I rented this on holiday with friends and this cut is the hacked original that the director destroyed by cutting scenes and dubbing over bits strangely. I didn't recognise it compared to my memory of the director's cut when i watched it. Disappointing :(

A true cinematic masterpiece and my all time favourite film. I have been waiting for Blade Runner to be made available on Google Play in Australia for quite a long time and am very happy to see it finally available. Blade Runner is a very intelligent film that has so many deep ideas and philosophical layers to it. It is a film that one can watch again and again many times and still find it to be a very rewarding experience, each time coming away with an even deeper understanding of the film. In my opinion Blade Runner is one of the most intellectually stimulating films ever made. I would rate this film higher than five stars if I could, it is well worth every dollar.

Although not for everyone, I find Bladerunner to be emotionally stirring, visually moving and audibly sensational. Always has been my favorite. This was the version I saw first and bound me to the movie, so I will always have a soft spot for it. I do also like the other versions, but you always remember your first.
