Thirty years after the events of the first film, a new blade runner, LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling), unearths a long buried secret that has the potential to plunge what’s left of society into chaos. One of the worst films I've ever watched. I feel like the whole movie is all about the main character is wondering around and doing nothing. The worst thing for me is that I don't even know what this movie is all about. I regret watching it. Wasted 3 hours time (nearly).

I never expected a sequel to Blade Runner to ever happen, let alone be as good as 2049 is. Just like the original, 2049 rewards repeat viewings, peeling back the many layers of the story and the details of the world. We don't get much big budget high concept science fiction these days so it is truly a joy to watch what I believe to be a modern masterpiece.
