Manji, a highly skilled samurai, becomes cursed with immortality after a legendary battle. Haunted by the brutal murder of his sister, Manji knows that only fighting evil will regain his soul. He promises to protect a young girl named Rin and help her avenge her parents, who were killed by a group of master swordsmen led by ruthless warrior Anotsu. The mission will change Manji in ways he could never imagine...the 100th film by master director Takashi Miike.

Really enjoyable film that is well done and paced right. The action is kept throughout and there is subtle humor sprinkled throughout. Entertaining acting throughout as well. If you are a fan of Martial arts movies this is definitely one you will enjoy.

Amazing! Havent enjoyed an action pack story driven sword fight movie in awhile. I love every moment of blade of the immortal. Great storyline to go with the action!

So well done with the time allotted, loved this movie 2 hours and 21 minutes of awesome samurai action and gore! Check it out it's a must see for any true martial arts fan.
