About this movie

Based on the incredible true story of one of boxing's most charismatic and colourful champions, Bleed for This centres on Rhode Island native Vinny Pazienza (Miles Teller), AKA The Pazmanian Devil. When a near-fatal car accident leaves him with a broken neck and the prognosis that he may never walk again, Vinny teams with trainer Kevin Rooney (Aaron Eckhart) and stages a triumphant return to the ring.

Ratings and reviews

Very poor writing and acting in my opinion. The film wasn't made exciting, dramatic or explosive enough. Not a patch on boxing classic films like Rocky. Maybe the real life of the Pazmanian Devil was more exciting, dramatic & explosive in ways but this film was made boring and was just about bearable to watch. Not enough fighting shots either, very little. The real life of the Pazmanian Devil seems interesting but this production definitely wasn't.
