Emma Brody was blinded as a child. Now, a corneal transplant returns the gift of sight. She can see her best friend Candice (Laurie Metcalf). She can see all beauty of Chicago. And she can see the face of the man who murdered her neighbor... Or can she? Sometimes Emma's (Madeleine Stowe) mind doesn't register a visual image until a day later. Did Emma see the face of a killer, or was it a hallucination? Detective John Hallstrom (Aidan Quinn) believes Emma knows the killer's face--and that he is stalking her.
