About this movie

After her drug kingpin boyfriend frames her for stealing a fortune in cartel cash, 17 year old LYDIA goes on the run, with only one ally in this whole wide world: her perennial screw-up of a dad, JOHN LINK, who's been a motorcycle outlaw, and a convict in his time, and now is determined to keep his little girl from harm and, for once in his life, do the right thing...

Given the cast, I initially hoped of a B + grade modern western. Unfortunately, the movie transpired to be was a weird mashup of an awkward father/daughter chase movie in a narco western backdrop. The cinematography was good (cinematic direction however missed the opportunity of wide angle shots), as was the direction. However, the mix up between clearly experienced (and good) actors and B grade actors made the character interactions awkward and forced. C-

Good that Mel finally admitted his alcoholic leaning on screen. This is as far from a nostalgic, I am sorry and can redeem my role as father, as Mel is from getting past his alcoholism. Mel there is no redemption for you, despite what your silly catholic faith has offered. What a dud movie, I did like the bikes though (2 stars).

Pretty average gun toting good guy bad guy movie. Dialogue atrocious. Lead acting poor. My style of movie but I'm glad I only had to sit through 87mins.
