Based on the bestselling comic book, Vin Diesel stars as Ray Garrison, a soldier recently killed in action and brought back to life as the superhero Bloodshot by the RST corporation. I love the concept behind it but poor execution. I like the variety of technology showcased throughout the film, quite frankly the only thing that kept me watching but boy is this movie very bland. Characters are quite boring, attempt at humor only kept taking me out of it and it's basically the whole, 'you murder my wife' cliche all over again. The film Upgrade did it way better.

It . . . was a movie. People really worked hard on it and tried to make an enjoyable product. That's about the nicest thing I can say about it. They must've really saved money on writing when the script was like 99% tropes and cliches. Maybe you'll like it? I dunno you. I find that kinda hard to imagine, though. It DIDN'T make me wanna claw my eyes out. That's about the highest praise I've got for it.

Bloodshot is a film for the most part seemed like it did not try to be good and lost itself. I have not read the graphic novel but the acting is a bit bland and the movie again, seems to lose itself. It does boast fun visuals and a fun story even though the film goes a bit slow for something like this. I liked the ending action and the construction of a simulation in Italy, it was cool looking. 3 stars out of 5.
