Sadly, I think this movie wasn't really even a shell of what it could have been. I remember very clearly when these tragic events where happening, the fear and hopelessness, for all, when the nation was tracking down these 2 killers. This movie was very slow, mundane, uneventful and not specific on any level. If you're going to make a movie such as this one it should be done correctly.

I, Myself, am an independent filmmaker. The inspiration you get from others being an independent artist is what intrigued me to go out one night to the indie theater "Arena Cinema" here in Los Angeles. I had never heard of this film before and went inside completely blind as to what I was going to witness. Here's exactly what I have to say: Blue Caprice is an Independent Masterpiece. Immediately, before you even get to experience the stellar performances by the amazingly talented cast, you are introduced to the beautiful cinematography and overall composition that was clearly put together by experts. From the stunning Depths of Field to the breathtaking Color Grading, you are instantly hooked onto what you are looking at. Now that you are in, it's time to see the beauty within the beauty and that is the performance. Every actor that had the opportunity to take part in this film, made sure to show you why there were cast in this film. Every word in every moment had purpose. And every purpose became more chilling and terrifying than the last in this twisted "True Story of the DC Shooters" film. Do NOT miss out on Blue Caprice. Everything a film needs is THERE.

If you like watching people move around doing things with little to no dialog, context, or motive - you'll enjoy this movie. It assumes you are an expert on the historical events and relies on your knowledge to piece together the scenes. Every critical point within the plot is glanced over, just off camera, or assumed. I am very disappointed with the execution of this movie. There are podcasts and books that do this story justice. Don't watch this movie.
