This is a gem. I could provide a digesis but I won't. Suffice to say, if you like movies from the 1970s, want to see Richard Pryor actually ACT instead of do comedy, and see a great performance from Yaphet Kotto, this is a social commentary well worth bucket-listing. It really is handled well. It even reminds me of Alan Pakula, who made Klute, All the Presidents Men, and The Parrallax View. In a way, it's in that vein. It starts out seemingly humorous but debouches into a chilling commentary on western society.
