About this movie

Academy-Award-nominees Ryan Gosling (HALF NELSON, THE NOTEBOOK) and Michelle Williams (BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, SHUTTER ISLAND) star in Blue Valentine, an intimate, shattering portrait of a disintegrating marriage. Once passionately in love, Dean (Gosling) and Cindy (Williams) try to rekindle their lost feelings by spending a night in a hotel, remembering what brought them together six years earlier. Moving between the present and the past courtship of these two, this award-winning movie captures both the promise of new romance and the brutal heartbreak that comes with fading love.

This movie is amazing. It's not your typical happy for lucky love story. Expect tears. Not recommended for those with a weak heart. It'd very emotional

This is a tough one to judge, because it's not so much a love story as it is an autopsy of a love that went awry. Even going into this knowing that these are actresses and actors still doesn't stop a person from bawling their eyes out and reaching for the box of tissues. Simply put, this is a heartwrenching tale of a once great love gone wrong. Phenomenal, though.

This movie is phenomenal. I mean it's showing the beginning of a love story and the ending of one. It made me cry so hard, it was so beautiful I hated the way it ended though. But I watched this movie a million times and its one of those movies that needs or needed to be recognized. In my eyes it's the best movie ever.
