About this movie

This box office blockbuster stars Academy Award-winner Kevin Costner ("The Guardian," "The Upside of Anger") and Grammy Award-winner Whitney Houston ("Waiting to Exhale") in a romantic suspense thriller about an ex-secret service agent-turned-professional-bodyguard, who never leaves anything up to chance, until he meets a pop superstar-turned-actress whose fabulous career takes a life threatening turn when she becomes the target of an obsessive fan. Written by Lawrence Kasdan ("The Big Chill," "Raiders of the Lost Ark"), The New York Post calls this film "Costner's sexiest role to date," and Gannett News Service calls it "an entertaining, suspenseful, romantic thriller... Costner and Houston generate sparks!" Featuring the chart-topping #1 album of the year by Houston (10,000,000 records sold to date -- the biggest-selling CD worldwide of all time!). MPAA Rating: R © 1992 Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc.

What the HELL is this movie doing on here to rent? Not to mention the price! Just a way to profit off a death, so sad. Yall didn't want a thing to do with this woman until she pretty killed herself. Its shameful to now profit from this. YouTube Whitney and Being Bobby Brown to get some perspective on how she destroyed her life.

I echo the comments of several other reviewers that I can watch this over and over again. The story line holds together very well and the acting is very good. In all honesty, I felt Whitney out-acted Kevin. And, of course, there is the music which is timeless, flawless, and every other superlative you can think of. The only part of the movie that I found hard to believe is how Kevin and Whitney never fell in love in real life. The next time you see this film, look at both of their faces when they look at each other. You can't tell me that there wasn't a flicker of a spark between them?

Cissy, You should be so proud. My daughter, Madison went on to a bigger and better place in Heaven. Whit and Miss Madison are singing, laughing with Our Heavenly Father. We will see both Knippy and Mad Maddie soon. But i Until then you and I must be a true believer that our girls are our Angels watching and protecting our everystep. nakednnature@yahoo. Place in Gods hands is our future...
