Laura (Vera Farmiga) is a single mother, who has a constant need to put rescue animals before her. When her estranged, criminally-minded father Jack (Christopher Plummer) is kicked out of his retirement home, Laura agrees to drive him to live with her sister. Along for the ride is her bright but troubled son HENRY, and an assortment of animal charity cases. Jack convinces Henry to help him sell off his copious supply of marijuana at every stop of their journey, resulting in unexpected reunions with old friends and family.

This is a strange yet decent road trip film. There are alot of what seem to be cringe worthy moments which seem to bring down the film. It does get funny and brings the drama and brings those good what's going to happen next moments it is just a bit strange. It is cute with the animals though and is not a terrible movie and is not a very good one either. I reccomend Green Book more but this is fine. 3 to 3 and a half.
