This is a riveting and incredibly important film about the undemocratic use of state power to undermine individual freedom of speech. The relevance of this film to our time is heightened by the recent decision of the Supreme Court to allow states to require individuals to give up their right to boycott events/actions that violate their personal moral code. To watch this movie is to understand how easily democracy can be corroded and to admire those who make a personal sacrifice to protect it.

This well done documentary exposes the work of organizations working to eliminate our first amendment right of free speech by making boycotting unconstitutional. Using three example of folks who were impacted because they refuse to sign a pledge to never boycott Israel in any way, the film goes further and shows us how the right is using boilerplate legislation to make boycotting almost anything illegal. Important film.

Such a powerful film about the courageous effort of community leaders across America to make sure their basic fundamental Constitutional rights are being protected, and they are not being silenced about issues that matter to them and their families. Didn't know anything about these dangerous efforts to stifle our first amendment rights; learned so much from this film.
