BOYZ N THE HOOD is the critically acclaimed story of three friends growing up in a South Central Los Angeles neighborhood. It is a place where harmony co-exists with adversity, especially for three young men growing up there: Doughboy (Ice Cube), an unambitious drug dealer; his brother Ricky (Morris Chestnut), a college-bound teenage father; and Ricky's best friend Tre (Cuba Gooding, Jr.), who aspires to a brighter future beyond "The Hood." In a world where a trip to the store can end in death, the friends have diverse reactions to their bleak surroundings. Tre's resolve is strengthened by a strong father (Larry Fishburne)who keeps him on the right track. But the lessons Tre learns are put to the ultimate test when tragedy strikes close to home, and violence seems the only recourse. Ya'll lames running ya'll mouth STFU & watch it Most ya'll weren't even BORN when this came out so stop faking like you connected I want to know what's the streaming problem ever time I watch I was an actual neighborhood kid in this film Not none of YOU! Besides that my point is I BOUGHT it off (google) and it's always glitching and won't stream right I have the best WIFI money can buy. Its not on my end its on you, PUNK, RACIST NERD'S END. One of the best films i've ever seen. Such a great plot, with 3 different characters going 3 different ways. Perfectly displays the west coast culture and the life in the inner american neighbourhoods. From the alley scene to the part where doughboy takes his revenge are well made and a true memorable classic scenes. Casting ice cube has to be the best decision singleton ever made. Ice cube was raw from his performance to his outfit. This film has such a powerful messege.

This movie is an instant classic I wish they still made movies like this now a days. Brings back so many memories. I can't believe my parents let me watch this when I was 8 lol I'm so glad they did though... Now I'm 14 and have seen this at least 20+ times; one of my all time favorite movies. I can't wait till Straight Outta Compton comes out in August.
