Historically dodgy, but then that's not really the point. The movie is a meditation about the fight for FFFFFFRRRRRRREEEEEEEDDDDDDOOOOOMMMMM! And what Freedom really meant for Scotland. Love the final scenes. Epic score, fantastic acting and a 3-hour runtime.

You won't find a better movie than this. I recommend also watching 'The Patriot'.

Mel is giving it to the pompous Brits in this one!
