I've read 3 books on Robert Hanssen, and they were all way more interesting than this movie. Hanssen was an ultra conservative Opus Dei Catholic who used to invite his friend over to hide in the closet while he had sex with his wife. The Hanssen family tried desperately to project the image of a healthy, happy family while Robert betrayed his country as an FBI agent selling information to the Russians. The real story is a lot more interesting than this movie.

I had high hopes for this movie, since I like spy/detectives/intelligence genre, and it really isn't terrible. The acting is good, and you do get attached to the characters. However, the pace is just so slow, it's difficult to stay engaged in what is going on.

I thought that this film would be more exciting than it was. In my opinion it had too much of a build-up with very little payoff... I would say I'm quite disappointed, especially considering it had received such positive reviews on Gplay. I would not recommend it.
