About this movie

During the Boer War, three Australian lieutenants are on trial for shooting Boer prisoners. Though they acted under orders, they are being used as scapegoats by the General Staff, who hopes to distance themselves from the irregular practices of the war. I would have like to have given this film 4.5, very good film and perhaps one of the best in it's era and for the period it is set in. And a very gritty story. Being true makes it more so.

Brilliant. An Australian classic. Must see.
