This is a dark film showing what would've happened if Superman also had a "my way or the highway" type of attitude. The effects are done really well. Like all pre-teens, he thinks rules are unfair, but he has the ability to make all his problems disappear..... I like this so much I bought it, and I've watched it many, many times.

A different and refreshing take on the superhero movie genre. A brutal and bloody up yours to the flowery and happy happy nonsense rammed down your throat by Disney. It's not a classic by any means, it is however, a welcome change from the norm.

Good to see a movie where the bad guy is the central character, and this kid is really bad! Not great, but not bad either.
