The crazy comedy troupe that brought you Super Troopers takes you on a trip that is so outrageously fun, it's murder, in Broken Lizard's Club Dread. At Coconut Pete's Pleasure Island, a sun-kissed, booze-soaked resort, high-spirited comic hijinx are about to meet up with machete-wielding horror. It all starts when a group of fun-seeking young travelers arrive on the island ready to party with the resort's staff, who are there to provide them with every legal form of leisure on earth, and then some. Run by the washed-up pop star Coconut Pete (Bill Paxton), still basking in the fame of his hit '70s single "Pina Colada-Burg," the island provides the ultimate kick-back holiday... that is, until islanders start kicking the bucket.

Do not expect an academy award winning movie, but if you are in need of some great entertainment that does not constitute any thinking, this is the movie for you. Very raunchy and cheesy humor, but I love that kind of stuff.

A lot of moments in this just don't work. I found a few chuckles in here but on the whole I have was fairly disappointed.

Bill Paxton is the man! If you are looking for a fun and well made movie that has just the right amount of goofball, Club Dread is it!
