I wanted to like this movie. I love the actors, and the subject matter is interesting. But the characters are all horrible, selfish people. Why is everyone so awful in this movie? It was odd and unexpected. Ick.

Nothing new or compelling. Don't understand why this got so much attention. There are dozens of better immigrant stories out there or waiting to be told.

Got some problems with the second half of this film. Kinda looses its direction. Great acting but manipulative plotline gets annoying.
