All his life Henry has been a nice guy. The man who lives to turn the other cheek. But things are about to change. Bruiser, 2001, ⭐️⭐️ 1/2. George A. Romero wrote and directed this nightmare about a spineless man who wakes up without a face. Later going on a rampage, killing all of those who had previously taken advantage of him. I was very much reminded of William Castle’s Mr. Sardonicus and Brian DePalma’s Phantom of the Paradise. While true that the film had a lot of originality and stood on its own merits; it wasn’t as much fun to watch as the other movies referenced.
