Alla vigilia di Natale molto tempo fa, un bambino striscia nel sacco dei giocattoli di Babbo Natale... Allevato come un elfo, Buddy da adulto diventa tre volte più grosso dell'elfo più grande - e si rende conto che non potrà mai veramente adattarsi al Polo Nord. Questa stagione di festa, Buddy va a cercare il suo vero posto nel mondo - a New York City. Buddy trova suo padre maniaco del lavoro - che è sulla lista "cattivi" di Babbo Natale, una nuova madre e un fratello di 10 anni, che non crede a Babbo Natale e agli elfi. Qui, ora, Buddy scopre il suo destino - salvare il Natale a New York e nel mondo!

Humor for everyone. A one star review is a Grinch reply. I have watched every year since it was released and several times in between. I have purchased DVDs over the last 18 years, given as gifts, worn out my own copies and now have it digital.

I'm surprised people love this movie. I watched for first time recently and was thoroughly unimpressed. I like a couple of Will Ferrells movies but not this. His best is Step Brothers. I wont watch Elf ever again.

I'm reading this as a family Movie. Kids like it when they hit around 7 years old and up. It's one of those movies that even makes adults laugh and smile a bit.
