Cybertron is gevallen. Als Optimus Prime Bumblebee stuurt om de aarde te verdedigen, begint zijn reis om een held te worden. Charlie Watson (Hailee Steinfeld), een tiener die haar plek in de wereld zoekt, ontdekt en repareert de gehavende robot, die zich heeft vermomd als een Volkswagen Kever. Terwijl de Decepticons de overgebleven Autobots opjagen met de hulp van een geheime dienst geleid door agent Burns (John Cena), beschermen Bumblebee en Charlie de wereld in een avontuur vol actie voor het hele gezin.

Ok. First of all on the cybertron scene since they are all aliens on an alien planet shouldnt they be speaking an alien language and use subtitle so we can see what they are saying? They did it in the movie star kid! You didnt think about that huh travis knight?

What a relief this is from some of Bay's work, though I do respect some it, especially the third film. In this one there isn't any really weird dialogue, the filming style is better, there is beautiful character development, and is quite fun. There is gross humor a bit and one of the main boys without thinking uses the word retarded, and that definitely is offensive to people with disabilities, but this is still a relief of a film.
