영화 정보

Oscar®-nominee Bradley Cooper stars as renowned rockstar chef Adam Jones, the owner of a two-star Michelin restaurant who has a bad attitude and even worse habits to match. When his arrogance destroys his successful career, Jones uncovers a new resolve and is now  determined to rebuild his life and achieve one of the most elusive culinary distinctions: a third Michelin Star. To shut down his dissenters Jones assembles a new crew, including the beautiful Helene (Sienna Miller), to help him battle the odds and launch a new top restaurant. Oscar®-winner Emma Thompson, Oscar®-nominee Uma Thurman, Omar Sy, Daniel Brühl, Matthew Rhys, and Alicia Vikander costar in this remarkably funny and emotional comedy about the love of food, the love between two people, and the power of second chances.

3/5: I'm very glad I watched it but I won't be watching it again. Like any other moving about cooks, Burnt gives you a desired or "taste" if you will for good cooking. You gain an appreciation for the art of cooking. This movie gives you the appreciation for food but it does not run the storyline. No, instead what you have is a moving similar to Silver Linings Playbook but instead of dancing the it is cooking. Instead of yelling at his family he is yelling at his other cooks. Instead of blowing up over his wife cheating on him he blew up over drugs and alcohol from breaking under the pressure. The movie was delightful but it was not remarkable.

Very boring movie... I was hoping for an experience similar to "Chef" but was greatly disappointed. It was a depressing movie with a weird order of events. Maybe it just wasn't for me but my wife had the same opinion and she absolutely loves to cook. I can see this movie being in the $5 bin very soon.

Coming from a chef, this movie, for the most part, captures the culinary world. I don't think this movie was made for the populace who orders bullshit items off menu thinking they're improving a perfect dish because they watched Guy Fieri or some other bullshit stand and stir show. This is a movie for the people that wear their kitchen tattoos from the oven and stove. The people who don't know what it's like to have a five day week. It's for those of us who live the Kitchen Life.
