Jason's lackluster life finds new purpose when his recently deceased ex-wife comes to him in a dream promising eternal unity if he returns the wedding ring to her dead finger. Joined by a roommate on the run from relationship issues of his own, the two embark on a journey across the desert where things quickly descend into chaos due to a faulty navigation app, desert sirens, a wounded raccoon and an assortment of sand-dwelling folk seemingly intent on keeping Jason from reuniting with his one true love.
