There is a plot nested in this movie: a story of a man whose family was murdered... did he do it? But this movie is burdened by its non-linear storytelling, its rant against the rigid modern society, and its outlandish end of the world theory. Then, the movie whimpers out with a non-conclusive ending tagged on. It's a nowhere man's journey to nowhere. It is not worth the time invested.

This movie was designed to get high ratings, packed with abbreviated, knock off versions of the highly acclaimed works of actual story tellers. That in and of itself is genius, don't get me wrong... Being able to use subliminal references that smug psuedo intellectual snobs feel special for being able to identify in order to procure their praise without ever actually telling a story is a billion dollar skill. Unfortunately it's not the type of skill that would result in the making of a movie worth watching. Most people, who are either smart enough to know that they have already been told the same stories (except with an actual conclusion) or are only smart enough to know that the story had no actual plot will probably not enjoy it. As messed up as it may seem I'm giving 4 stars purely for the fact that I'm almost positive that this movie was designed to get ratings. In that respect it was a true work of art and I tip my hat to those responsible, kudos.

I liked Buster! It was fresh and exciting comedic film that held my interest! If you didn't get this movie you should stick to your boring Hollywood blockbuster movies which plots are all the same. Hero battles Villian, and girl grows to love hero. Hero struggles and girl thinks she loses him to the actions of the Villian but he miraculously comes back from the dead to defeat the bad Villian. The girl is overjoyed and cries as the hero approaches her with a giant kiss! The theater goes wild because that was so orginally stupid!
