About this movie

Natasha Lyonne from Orange Is the New Black leads this wickedly funny coming-of-age comedy. Megan (Lyonne) is a high schooler with a passion for cheerleading...she just happens to be more attracted to the girls on her squad than the boys on the field. Fearing Megan is a lesbian, her parents send her to the True Directions camp to be re-oriented. But the camp's plans to change Megan backfire, as she and a colorful group of campers defend their sexuality—and turn True Directions up, down, and all around!

This has a special place in a lot of gay people's hearts. It is not the best made movie ever but it is funny and fought to not be rated NC-17. If you love campy movies and have a funny bone then this is for you. If you want to take a look back at a gay film that represents us pretty well and was the first of its kind then this is for you. Really funny btw

This is a corky, funny movie that is centered around this cheerleader that just so happens to be a lesbian. Her parents dont like the fact that she is gay so they send her off to a camp to change her sexual orientation. She is down for it untill she meets this girl named Graham.

I don't even think you have to be gay in order to enjoy this movie. It's adorable, funny and entertaining. The ending is beautiful and made my cry. The love between the two main characters is just great and the characters are funny and relatable. Thank you to the people who made this movie.
