Neil (Gerard Butler - 300) and Abby Randall (Maria Bello - A History of Violence) are a happily married couple living a perfect life in the Chicago suburbs. But in the blink of an eye this safe and secure existence is turned upside down, when their daughter is taken hostage and they find themselves at the mercy of Tom Ryan (Pierce Brosnan), a man who wants only one thing - that over the next twenty-four hours they are totally under his control. They will do his bidding. As Ryan destroys their finances, career and relationship piece by piece... their nightmare is about to take its most deadly turn. They must decide... how far will they go to save their child?
