In this tale of sex, violence, race and rock and roll in Chicago of the 1950s and 60s, the film follows the exciting but turbulent lives of some of America's greatest musical legends. Beyonce does the most amazing performance as Etta James as well does the rest of this all star cast that could not have been casted any better, hats off to this film casting director, well done , they all deserved an Oscar in my opinion , I have watched this film about a hundred times and plan on watching it a few hundred more.

Stumbled upon this movie last night. Love the music/artist from this period. Watched it and so glad I did. Amazing story and amazing cast! Beyonce' as Etta James.....it don't get any better!

I wish I could find a way to watch it without downloading or paying thought! I don't get why Netflix doesn't have it
