About this movie

Amid a cacophony of car horns and swearing, on the manic streets of Cairo Egyptians vent their frustrations and air their hopes and joys. With a cast of drivers as diverse as the city’s population, Cairo Drive reveals the tumult of the city in the days leading up to the Egyptian Revolution. With an often delightfully comic edge, it captures the voices of a people who are unsure what the next turn in the road holds in store for them.

I have expected more since I've been looking for the director's point of view but I have figured out that there isn't , a deep focus on the life in the streets of Cairo in a great documentation and a lot of effort , on that side the movie is very subjective and neutral from any political ,sociological or economic concepts which is what I did't expect . It praise the major title of the movie "Cairo driveways" but it the meantime I did't find a reason for involving the revolution , voting or president candidate Amr Mousa if we are not talking politics. Recommended to watch if you are curious to know about the streets of Cairo or ever visited Egypt and wondered about what you see in the streets.
