Chicago, 1968. As a city and the nation are on the brink of political upheaval, suburban housewife Joy (Elizabeth Banks) and her husband and daughter are living the all-American dream. But Joy's tranquil world is shattered when her life-threatening pregnancy forces her to navigate a medical establishment unwilling to help. Rate as 1 star! This movie is damaged. It shows as a BLACK screen, while you can hear it, but not view it. Do not purchase!!! I am trying to get a refund but no reply~ What a mess...

I loved this movie! the cast is great and i love that they were trying to make necessary womens healthcare available for everyone regardless of funds or situation. This film became even more important after roe was overturned and I am glad this film was made.
