從居民有記憶以來，芝加哥卡布里尼綠區的住房項目就被一個關於超自然殺手的鬼故事恐嚇著。在卡布里尼大廈被拆毀十年後，視覺藝術家安東尼·麥考伊（耶也·亞度-馬甸II飾）和他的女友，畫廊總監布莉安娜·卡特萊特（泰娜·帕麗斯飾），搬進了卡布里尼的豪華閣樓公寓，現在高檔化得面目全非，住著上流社會的千禧一代。 安東尼的繪畫事業正處於停滯不前的邊緣，一次偶然的機會，他遇到了卡布里尼綠地的老前輩（科爾曼·多明戈飾），讓安東尼了解到糖魔怪客背後的真實故事的悲慘。安東尼急於保持他在芝加哥藝術界的地位，開始在他的工作室里探索這些可怕的細節，作為繪畫的新鮮素材，不知不覺中打開了一扇通往複雜的過去的大門，解開了他自己的理智，釋放出可怕的病毒式暴力浪潮，使他與命運相撞。

SPOILERS I walked out after 45 minutes of watching it in the cinema. I decided to watch it again. This movie looks good, the dialogue is mostly good, but the main protagonist is boring, even the twist at the end doesn't make his character interesting. The reason we are giving why it's all happening is really weak. Luckily this movie is short in length.

Fantastic sequel to the first movie! For maximum enjoyment watch the Tony Todd original Candyman then watch this straight after, you'll see how they tie in together much more clearly, but you've got to see the first one because this is definitely not a remake!

I rented this and then purchased to watch a few times. This is nowhere near as good as the original, but it was an interesting take. It was great to see Nathan in this, from Misfits. The actors were really good and I do like how they tried to incorporate the original story. I wasn't blown away by this though.
