Oscar and Golden Globe-nominee Nick Nolte ("The Prince of Tides," "Affliction") portrays a former baseball player who falls for a Skid Row hooker, played by Oscar-nominee Debra Winger ("Terms of Endearment," "An Officer and a Gentleman").
