This film is great mostly because Robert Mitchum's portrayal of Max Cady. Mitchum is one of my favorite actors of all time. He is such a natural, and so handsome. I highly recommend this film if you like old black and white films like I do and enjoy a good suspense film. I saw the Robert DE Niro version in the theater when it came out and that was good too but this one is better because of Mitchum.

It's easy f****** terrible it doesn't even need to do this and I want to kill myself after watching it
